My device powers on and has a good signal quality, but it is not working how I want, what can I do?

If your device has sufficient battery and successfully connects to Zenseio's servers, but is still not working as intended, it is possible that it may need a firmware update, or to be reconfigured. However, it is generally a good idea to try a device reset before reconfiguring.

To reset your device:
  1. Slide the power switch to “Off” position.

  2. Press and release the User Button

  3. Slide the power switch to the “On” position.

Warning
Be sure to never power on your device with no antenna attached. If your device powers on with no antenna, it can cause permanent damage to your device's radio which is not covered by warranty

If your device still is not operating properly after a power cycle, it may need to be updated to the most recent firmware. To learn how to update your device's firmware, see the Zenseio Device Update Guide

If your device is updated to the latest firmware and still has issues, it may need to be reconfigured. To do this, first reset your device to factory settings (See the factory reset section in the Zenseio device user manual ).

After successfully resetting your configuration to factory settings, your device can be reconfigured using a custom .exe file sent to you from Zenseio. In order to request a reconfiguration, please create a ticket at Zenseio's Support Desk, or email support@zenseio.com. Upon receiving your reconfiguration request, Zenseio Support will send your reconfiguration file and walk you through the process of installing the new configurations to your device.

To capture and send your device's currrent configuration, see this guide.
