What happens to my device when it goes through a power cycle?

Your device will remain at the same configuration it had before the power restart. However, if you do a factory reset, your device configuration will reset to its default settings. If you run a firmware update, your device may be configured during the update (based on the firmware update script that was used). To learn how to update your device's firmware, see the Zenseio Device Update Guide

Alert
Note that power cycling your CSMP device will clear its onboard memory and soft reset it, resulting in the loss of any data that has not yet been transmitted, and any error codes will be reset. We recommend checking the device using the ZenConfig mobile app before trying to power cycle the device, allowing you to check for any potential error messages before resetting.
