Setting Up a Banner T30R Radar Sensor (4-20mA version)
Banner Engineering T30R radar level sensors with 4-20mA interface can be used with CSMP/LSMP telemetry devices
Hook up:
- Brown (V+) input to VAUX
- White (4-20mA) into GPI2C
- Jumper from GPI2 to GND (next to GPI2)
- Blue (V-) into GND (next to VAUX)
In the ZenConfig mobile app, set:
- VAUX to 12V
- GPI2 mode to “4-20mA”
- Under GPI2, “Supply VAUX?” to Yes
- Under GPI2, “Settling Time (in ms)” to 300 + response time (depending on your sensor settings, as in the table below - from Banner Engineering T30R-1515-CKIQ radar level sensor)
- for example, if using Medium Response Speed and Analog Output Filter Setting of 1, the settling time will be 300+20 = 320 (ms)
